Our decor shows a Tibetan mandala with the form of a celestial palace. Maybe,the Austrian Heinrich Harrer, who became a confident of the Dalai Lama, got to know about the meaning of the mandalas. Giant figures of colored sand were drawn on the abbey's floor  in a several weeks lasting work. It is not the finished work

of art that matters but the procedure of it's creation.
